How we make money
Plain answers about money, because you should know who pays for the pages you read.
The short version
This site is meant to be funded by affiliate links: if you open an account through one of our links, the provider may pay us a fee. You pay nothing extra.
Right now we have no paid partnerships. Every “Visit” button goes straight to the provider's official website, and we earn nothing from it. When that changes, the affected links will be labelled “Ad” and this page will list the partners.
Rules that don't change when money comes in
- Scores, verdicts and the order of every list are decided by our published method, before we look at any commercial terms.
- Paid links are labelled “Ad” next to the link itself, not only in a footer.
- Every provider page says whether we earn money from it.
- We don't link to crypto exchanges that lack an EU (MiCA) licence, even when they offer to pay.
- Providers can't buy a review, a higher score or the removal of a downside.
A note for readers in the Netherlands
The Dutch regulator (AFM) is strict about payments from investment firms to sites that recommend them. We will only accept arrangements that fit the rules where our readers live, and we'll describe them here.
